UT2004 delayed till 2004
Unreal Tournament 2004 will not be released in 2003.
Originally Unreal Tournament 2004 was to be released December 12th 2003 in Europe, while the US release date had not been announced. But now Atari Nordic has revealed that UT2004 (as well as Horizons by the way) has been delayed till 2004. So far the delay is only official for the Nordic Countries, but release dates are typically the same all over Europe with only a few days difference. So don't expect UT2004 anywhere in Europe this year.
The latest release list from Atari Nordic doesn’t reveal any specifics about the date, so lets hope the game is going to hit the retail shelves in Q1 2004. We haven’t been given any reasons for the delay.
A week ago it was announced that UT2004 will come in a special DVD edition alongside the standard game, which will include Video Training Modules for mod authors, a chat headset, as well as an Unreal window sticker.
